My name is Richard I am a fully qualified and BABCP accredited Psychotherapist working with Think CBT in Salford, Manchester M6. I also provide CBT online via Skype and video link.

I worked in the military for over 9 years and in NHS and Private sector for over 5 years.

I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2012 with BSc (Hons) Nursing (Mental Health). I obtained PG Dip in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the University of Birmingham. More recently I have qualified as an EMDR Therapist, having trained with the EMDR Masterclass UK. EMDR is recommended as a treatment for PTSD; it is also beneficial in other disorders that have associated traumatic onset.

I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for a wide range of psychological and emotional problems, including; Panic Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Stress Management, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Insomnia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression and Phobias.

I have also conducted sessions online and through video therapy. My aim is to support and empower you to make positive changes and enable more freedom in your life. I create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental environment so clients feel free to be themselves.

I am passionate about my own continued growth and development and receive regular supervision, personal therapy, attend professional events, conferences and workshops.
