Welcome I am a compassionate and results-driven Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over a decade of experience working across a wide range of mental health services. My professional background as a qualified Mental Health Nurse has allowed me to support individuals in some of the most complex, high-pressure, and emotionally challenging environments, including the NHS, military services, private healthcare, emergency departments, crisis teams, community services, and inpatient hospital settings. This breadth of experience has given me a deep and realistic understanding of mental health difficulties—not just from a clinical perspective, but from the lived experience of those seeking support. I understand how overwhelming distress, anxiety, trauma, and low mood can feel, and I bring empathy, patience, and genuine compassion into every therapeutic relationship. As an Accredited CBT Therapist, I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and related emotional difficulties, using evidence-based CBT approaches tailored to each individual’s needs. I am also EMDR trained and have strong experience in delivering trauma-focused CBT and EMDR, supporting clients who have experienced trauma, high stress, or emotionally overwhelming life events. Alongside my work with adults, I currently work with children and adolescents, delivering evidence-based CBT to support young people struggling with emotional regulation, anxiety, behavioural challenges, and distress. This work has further strengthened my ability to adapt therapy to different developmental needs and to work collaboratively with families when appropriate. I believe therapy is a journey, not a quick fix. My therapeutic ethos is collaborative, empathic, patient, and goal-oriented. I tailor each piece of work to the individual, recognising that no two people—or their experiences—are the same.
