Professional Profile

My name is Natasha and I am a Clinical Psychologist and a fully qualified and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist working with Think CBT in Bristol. I currently provide CBT or clinical psychology sessions online via Zoom.

I completed my CBT training at the Institute of Psychiatry and following this went on to complete my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Exeter. I am experienced in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I am able to offer an integrative approach that is based on an individual’s needs, current goals and expectations.

I have worked within the NHS across primary, secondary and specialist mental health services for several years with both adults and young people. This has given me experience working with individuals that present with a range of difficulties that impact their daily life, including, low mood, trauma, worry, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Healthy Anxiety and Specific Phobias.

I have a specialist interest in trauma, attachment and anxiety. I particularly value understanding how these experiences may have influenced an individual’s beliefs about themselves, other people and the world. I am passionate about working collaboratively with individuals to develop a shared understanding of their current difficulties and drawing on a wide range of psychological techniques that support individuals to overcome their difficulties. I place great emphasis on building trust and creating safety within the therapeutic relationship and empowering individuals to work towards their goals. My therapeutic style is relaxed, supportive and down to earth.

I work to the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) code of conduct and the BABCP code of professional standards and ethical standards. I place significant importance on confidentiality and the highest standards of care in everything I do.
