Professional Profile

My name is Lyndsay Stamp and I am a fully qualified and BABCP  accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and BACP accredited Counsellor and trained in EMDR working  in Canterbury, Kent CT1. I also provide CBT online via Skype and video link.

I have over 12 years’ experience working as a psychotherapist and counsellor in NHS settings (Primary and Secondary Care) and from treating a wide range of anxiety and depression related problems. I lecture in CBT and supervise CBT trainees at Canterbury Christ Church Univeristy.

I have completed the IAPT CBT supervisor training with The University of Surrey and CBT for Long Term Health Conditions with Canterbury Christ Church Univeristy.

I work with adults and young people. I am willing to work on a short term basis or on a longer term for more complex problems.

My approach to therapy is warm but down to earth. I aim  to work collaboratively with people toward achieving their goals.

I am committed to providing therapy in a confidential, non-judgmental space and abide by the professional and ethical standards laid down by the BABCP and BACP. I have full professional indemnity and current DBS clearance.
