My name is Ewelina Collins and I am a fully qualified and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. Currently I mainly provide CBT via video calls and/or telephone, so we can talk from the comfort of your home.
I have been assessing and treating different client groups with a range of common psychological
difficulties, in the NHS and non-profit organisations, since 2011.
I provide an evidence-based psychological treatment, hence I use the most effective psychological interventions based upon the best scientific evidence available.
I work with adults (18+) using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - a short-term model of psychotherapy that can vary from 4-20 sessions. The amount of sessions depends on the problem presented and what is agreed for during the assessment.
As a CBT Therapist, I can be active and guiding in sessions and I teach ways in which to cope. In therapy, we usually focus on what is going on in your life right now, but we might also look at your past, and think about how your past experiences can impact the way you see the world.
I strive to offer a safe, trusting and collaborative relationship, in which you feel respected and supported. My special interest areas include Mindfulness, Acceptance and Compassion-Focused therapeutical approaches.
I abide by the professional and ethical standards laid down by the BABCP and I have full professional indemnity and current DRB clearance.
I offer therapy in two languages, English and Polish.
