Hello my name is Amanda and I am a CBT specialist working with the Think CBT team in the Blackpool area and online via video link.
I have over 19 years experience of working with adults, families and children. I specialise in anxiety disorders including OCD, PTSD, health anxiety and social phobia. I also work with depression, low self-esteem, and work related stress.
in addition to my work using mainstream CBT, I integrate approaches from third-wave CBT including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I have specialist training in Child and Adult Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and have a special interest working with long term health conditions and the menopause.
I abide by the professional standards and ethics laid down by the BABCP and I have full professional indemnity to practice in the private sector.
